Ladies and Gentlemen this is Faded Cadence!

SERIOUS EMERGING TALENT

Matt Carter, Kaila Whyte, Chris Jackson and Torz Hill are four teenagers from the Birmingham area with a passion for music. They mix acoustic music with unique vocals to create a new refreshing sound.

It all started inn October 2008, when Chris and Matt started a musical project combining light acoustic sounds and feel good melodies. Small pub gigs and open mic nights followed and after recording a few demos in Matt's front room, Faded Cadence gained a pretty big online following.

Kaila Whyte joined the band in March 2009, adding drumming and backing vocals. By June 2009 they were playing bigger gigs and their music had been aired on Tom Robinson’s BBC 6 show. Violinist Torz Hill joined the band in April 2009 and after getting a licence to busk in Birmingham city centre they used the money from gigs and busking to record some of their tracks.

Having made the live finals of Glastonbury's emerging talent in 2010 – we believe the best is yet to come.
