DANIEL GLAISTER
NORWAY

Daniel Glaister was born in England and brought up mainly in Norway, where he still resides today. His background includes starting to play the harmonica, mandolin and guitar at a very early age, whilst accompanying his father, who was and still remains, a full time "busker". Throughout his early life and until beyond his teenage years, Daniel performed on the streets around Europe, both solo and as part of a duo with his father. Performing gigs along the way as well as busking. The many years of constant performances led Daniel to becoming a true professional as well as a well rounded musician. He started writing his own material fairly early on, incorporating folk, rock and funk influences into his songs, yet always sounding very much himself.

Whether reaching his audience through one of his insightful and heart wrenching ballads or getting them moving to one of his up-tempo numbers, Daniel is rare in the sense that he makes his solo performances sound more like that of a band. As well as his skills as a musician and singer/songwriter, Daniel is a highly experienced producer and technician. His abilities include recording, engineering, editing, mixing and mastering as well as full production. He also has vast experience in putting on events and in engineering live sound.

All in all Daniel Glaister is a totally original and consummately professional musician and performer.
